Our Ministry leader, Janet McCauley, has over 50 years of dance training. She has been a Professional Dance instructor for many years. She is trained in tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical throughout the Pittsburgh area. She is well known and well-loved in the Carrick area by the many students she has taught through the years in various Dance Schools.

Zion’s Dance Team’s focus is expressive worship dance. including expressive signing through Dance, billow cloth beauty, the use of streamers and much more.

Janet says, “I look forward to dance class each week with the youth which includes fun warm-ups and preparing dances that we do for our congregation on special occasions. My hope is my students will gain confidence, grace, discipline and a deeper connection to their faith through dance”.
